How We Prioritise Funding
- Applications associated with subscribing associations; they indirectly provide funds to LAL and the journal through subscriptions and it is proper to return these funds where appropriate
- Applicants that have the greatest impact. For example:
- FELASA activities that have a wide international exposure,
- Training courses where trainees will then train their colleagues,
- Speakers who will present to the widest number of people (such as on a European level)
- High quality applications: Funds are limited, so LAL wishes to ensure the highest possibility of success and widest dissemination of knowledge by competent and committed applicants.
- LAL has limited funds. Applications of suitable quality received early in any year, that fulfil the requirements above, are more likely to receive funding than similar applications received later in the year.
Important Notice:
LAL are re launching its bursary programme
We will be making two calls in the year with deadlines of march and September. All applications will be ranked and announcements will be made in April and October of the successful applicants. We will launch the new programme and provide application forms late January early February
